Your soundboard library
Your clips live in your account, on boards — the same idea as your Farrago sets. Boards belong to a show profile: one profile per show, holding that show's jingles and effects. In a session, the board's clips sit on keys (the number row, then the QWERTY row, in board order) and on buttons; press one and the clip plays into the room and onto the master recording, while everyone's own track stays clean.
Pick a profile to work with its boards. A session opened under a profile shows only that profile's boards on its soundboard.

Your music library
Your songs, on the studio's own music drive, in your account only. Upload whole albums here before the show. In a radio session, you queue tracks from this library into the player and the audience hears them on the program. Previewing a track and setting its start point happen in your headphones only — a preview never reaches the room, the audience, or any recording.
Clock wheels
A clock wheel is the plan for one whole show: segments of minutes, each with filters you stack — a decade AND a genre AND a BPM range, as specific as you like. In a radio session it builds your queue for you, counting Mixcloud's Featured Artist Rules as it goes (at most 4 songs by one artist in a show, at most 3 in a row; at most 3 from one album, at most 2 in a row). Wheels belong to a show profile, the way boards do.
Broadcast destinations
Going live in a radio session always reaches the Listen Live web player. You can also send the show to one outside destination, chosen when you go live. Save the details here once — they stay on the server, and this page never sees the secrets again.
Mixcloud
Your Mixcloud stream key is on your Mixcloud live page. Paste it here once and Mixcloud becomes a destination for every show.
Another Icecast server
For shows on somebody else's station — ACB Media, for example. Paste in the server details they gave you: the name you want to call it, the server address, port, mount point, and the source password.

Heads up: Aura Studio sessions may be recorded by the host.
One more thing: if you get in and cannot hear anyone, look for the "Turn sound on" button on the page and press it — browsers, especially on iPhones, hold the sound back until you do. You only have to do it once.
Waiting room
You are in the waiting room. Your host has been told you are here, and will let you in shortly. Keep this page open. And if you cannot hear anyone once you are in, look for the "Turn sound on" button and press it.
Show materials
Your host may share readings for this session — the rundown, an article the show is about. Type your name and the session code above, then press the button to read them — before you knock, while you wait, any time.

In the studio
Your browser is blocking sound from this session, so you cannot hear anyone yet.
This session may be recorded.
Recording
Recording is off.
When recording is on, your browser also keeps a backup recording of your own voice on this device, and uploads it when recording stops. The backup only counts if this tab stays open until the upload finishes — if you close the tab early, the backup is lost.
Radio — who is on air
Nobody is on air. The audience hears the soundboard and clips only.
You are off air — the audience cannot hear you, but everyone in this room can.
As host, you can also put each guest on or off air from the People list below.
This is a radio session. The room is your talkback: everyone here hears each other all the time, whether or not they are on air. The audience — and the broadcast's own recording — hear only the soundboard, the clips, and the people switched ON AIR.

Live broadcast
This session is not being broadcast live.
Going live sends everything in this session — voices, the soundboard and clips — out over the web as it happens, on the Listen Live section of joedgreen.com. Anyone can listen; listeners cannot speak or join. Recording is separate: going live does not start a recording, and recording does not go live.

Play a clip
Bring a moment into the session: paste a link — YouTube, or a link straight to an audio or video file — or choose a file from this device. It plays into the session as sound only; a video contributes its soundtrack, never a picture. Prepared clips belong to this session and are thrown away when it ends, unless you save one to your soundboard library.
Times are seconds, or minutes:seconds — like 90, or 1:30. Leave both blank to play the whole clip.
Saving uses the start and end times above, and puts the clip on the board you are showing.

Preview and set the start point
This preview plays only in your headphones. It never reaches the room, the audience, or any recording. Find the moment the song should start on air — skip a long talk-in, land on the first drumbeat — and set the start point there. The player remembers it for this track from then on, and its timing — the crossfade, the end-of-track cues, the play log — all counts from that point.
